Google puts UKIP 13 points ahead of the Conservatives in the European elections

Google successfully predicted that Norway would win the Eurovision Song Contest.

The search engine has now put the same technological forecast to the European elections and there's a dramatic result in the United Kingdom. The far right Europe sceptic party, UKIP, is ahead by a significant distance.

Google gives UKIP 54 points, Conservative 41, Labour secures third place with 38 and just ahead of the Greens who score 32. Sadly, the British Nationalist Party, the extremists, manage to score 11 points.

The post from the new European Public Policy blog from Google is likely to gain attention. No doubt a delieberate move from the search engine and a signal that it will be paying more attention to political developments in Europe.
