Nic Newman's 2014 media and tech predictions

This is worth a read. Ex-BBC journalist and Senior Research Fellow at the City University London, Nic Newman, has a well-thought-out set of predictions for what 2014 will look like for the media.

Newman's media is press, but his gaze covers the tech field. He predicts media will buy tech, and tech will buy media. I agree. Marketing brands play a role, too; WPP has invested in Vice, Axel Springer in Digital Window and Hearst in iCrossing.
