There's a weird SEO celebrity culture thing going on the UK over Matt Cutts and others, Danny Sullivan, Kevin Rose etc.
Funnily enough I got talking to Matt at the SES in New York two years ago when in the states he was just an employee of Google, and still is.

Although he probably forgot me 30 seconds after walking away. I'd like to think it's better that Matt doesn't know me or the clients I work for. Why would someone want to take the chance and piss of the guy that can mess up your clients site rankings. How much 7up would you have to send to Googleplex to fix a bad joke?

I prefer to remain out of the self promotion of the SEO fame. Although it might bring in the odd client I wouldn't want to waste valued time on guest blogs and that radio station thing they have.

Andrew, I did try to catch you at the A4U conference for the Kwik Fit affiliate thing, but some other BMM guy was there.
